It started with padel. The same gap was everywhere.
Trainer Direct began with one persistent problem: courts and gyms all over the city, people who wanted to train, and no straightforward way to find someone to coach you.
The gap
The venues arrived in a hurry. The coaching didn’t follow.
Padel spread across Karachi at a pace nobody planned for. Courts opened right across the city, groups formed, and a sport that barely existed here a few years ago now fills its evening slots.
Coaching never got organised the same way. You asked in a group chat, got a number from someone who knew someone, and hoped they had space. Coaches had the mirror-image problem: no way to be found by the people looking for them.
Then it became obvious the problem was never really about padel. Ask anyone looking for a personal trainer, or a tennis coach for their kid, and you get the same story back.
The coaches were always here. Finding them just meant knowing who to ask.

Every trainer is checked before their profile goes live. It is the least visible side of the marketplace and the one the other three rest on.
How we work
Three things we don’t move on.
Verified before listed
No trainer appears on the platform before they have been through verification — identity, coaching background, and where they work. Academies and gyms are onboarded the same way before their coaches are listed.
The coach sets the price
Rates, hours and any discount on an unsold slot belong to the person doing the coaching. We give coaches the tools to set them; we do not set them for anyone.
Add an activity properly, or not yet
A new activity goes live when there are verified coaches behind it, not when it would look good on the homepage. That is why some are still marked coming soon.
